The AIFP Conference is the premier forum for the independent and allied funeral industry and celebrates its 3rd year. The 2019 Conference hosted over 100 delegates from across the country and the independent funeral and allied industry landscape. The majority of attendees are decision making representatives in their respective businesses.
The AIFP were excited to bring the conference to central Melbourne and were proud, once again, that members, non-members and those interested in the funeral industry and its allied partners took this opportunity to embrace the personal and professional development that our program offered.
The conference provided a platform for our members and the independent funeral and allied professional community to connect, network, learn and exchange. The program featured an opening keynote plenary session, following sessions featuring some of Australia’s significant industry leaders, and the day’s end practical session to plan the implementation of learnings in your business or organisation.
The 3rd Annual AIFP Conference was held on Saturday 10th August 2019 from 8am–11pm at Rydges on Swanston, 701 Swanston Street, Carlton 3045.
This year’s conference is all about Pursuing Passion within the funeral care industry. Whether you’ve been in the industry for decades or days - or even if it’s just in your dreams – this conference is all about finding your passion, perhaps reconnecting to what made you passionate about the work in the first place or igniting your passion for a new or different part of the world of dying, death and all things funerals.
Again, across the Conference day we’ll have a wide variety of exhibitors on hand to share their knowledge, services and products with you…
Between the Conference close at 5pm and dinner at 7pm you’ll have some time to get together, do some more networking and participate in a silent auction in support of our Conference charity – Link HC – Health and Community.
Taste buds were tantalised and dancing shoes worn out… following a scrumptious dinner live music was heard from The Sour Grapes.
